The Kurfürstenstube, our unique fine dining restaurant, still has the original wood panelling from 1866 and offers first-class cuisine, personal service, and a very special ambience.

We call it Heidelberg’s most beautiful courtyard. Especially during summer, it is a real treat: fruity cakes, home-made ice cream, barbecue...

The shopping arcade was part of one of the many expansions made to the hotel and we are delighted to host many lovely tenants there.

Cars have been parked here for as long as there have been cars. But this is also where deliveries regularly take place. Everything that we need in a hotel of this size.

We reap the benefits of having our own specialist team of craftsmen every day and vary much appreciate having them here. It’s incredible to see the kinds of artists at work here.

We can scarcely believe how much a carpenter has to build and repair in a hotel. From damaged furniture to laying new flooring: We keep everything ship-shape ourselves.

Walls, ceilings, varnishing: With over 100 guest rooms, our painters always have work to do. Ultimately, our guests should feel completely at home.

Where there’s lots of work being done, sometimes things get broken. At our electronics workshop, we have a team of technicians working hard to ensure that all of the lights and electronic devices are in a working condition.

Only a few hotels still operate their own laundry service. Even we have to send some of our laundry out to external services. However, the linens are always done by us.

With great attention to detail, curtains, cushions and decorations are created at our tailors’ workshop for all of the areas visited by our guests.

From the freshly tapped beer, one or the other quarter of wine to the well-mixed cocktail: the pleasures in our bar are legendary.
