At the Summer Restaurant with terrace, you will enjoy a cuisine that fully reflects the warm season: light, fresh, and shaped by seasonal ingredients. In addition to our à la carte selection, we invite you to enjoy a multi-course menu, where the individual dishes are harmoniously coordinated and reflect the diversity of seasonal cuisine.
The bright interior in shades of green and white emphasizes the restaurant’s summery lightness. In fine weather, the large window fronts can be completely lowered into the floor, allowing the interior space and the Mediterranean-style courtyard garden to flow seamlessly into one another, creating a relaxed atmosphere for enjoyable hours.

Opening hours
Our “Summer Restaurant” with terrace is open for you during the summer months. During the winter months, our fine-dining restaurant “Die Kurfürstenstube” welcomes you instead.
Monday to Sunday from 12 noon to 11 pm.
Food can be ordered until 9 pm.

Regional and market-fresh specialties as well as homemade ice cream creations await you here. The terrace of Heidelberg’s most beautiful inner garden is a wonderful place to enjoy yourself.

Perfect wine enjoyment
Our wine list currently comprises around 400 different items and is constantly changing. Our current focus is on Germany and France, but wines from Italy, Austria, Spain and South Africa can also be found on the shelves of our wine cellar.
We offer a platform to a large number of young, as yet unknown winegrowers and are always delighted to see that these wines surprise and delight our guests. In addition, many mature wines are stored at the Europäischer Hof Heidelberg, which we are often allowed to purchase directly from the producers’ cellars and in small quantities.
From Riesling to Pinot Noir, we are careful to give each wine the time it needs to develop its optimum flavor and give our guests perfect moments of pleasure. Our sommelier will be happy to advise you on your choice.
Special wishes & quality
The highest quality of our food is just as important to us as sustainability. That’s why we value predominantly regional products at fair prices, mostly seasonal food and fish and meat products from ethical animal husbandry.
If you prefer vegetarian or vegan dishes, we will be happy to give you recommendations on site. You are welcome to discuss any special allergies or requests with us in advance.
