Exclusive atmosphere

Epicentre of the festival

Alongside the diverse events and concerts, the Europaeischer Hof forms the social epicentre of the festival – many of the participating artists stay “as usual” at the sanctuary in Heidelberg’s centre and are almost part ofo the family, such as the baritone Thomas Hampson or the world-famous pianist Igor Levit. Most of the musicians regularly take part in the festival and have therefore become regular guests of the hotel. We look forward to this special time every year, since it has almost become a family gathering and the other guests of the hotel also benefit from it. During the Heidelberger Frühling, our hotel has a very special familial atmosphere, which all of our hotel guests enjoy. The artists don’t seal themselves off: You may even meet Thomas Quasthoff, Sir András Schiff or the aforementioned Thomas Hampson at breakfast, in the Kurfürstenstube or at the bar.
